What is employment verification?

Employment verification is a background check that confirms a candidate’s work history by contacting their former employers. This check verifies job titles, dates of employment, and occasionally, additional details such as roles or responsibilities. In practice, ScoutLogic reaches out to each workplace submitted into our system to verify that the person actually worked there in the capacity they claimed, thus providing you with an accurate record of their employment history.
